Position
Summary:
The Community Development Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting our Development Department.
This multifaceted position involves various tasks, including donation management, social media coordination, public relations, event support, fund development, and community outreach.
Responsibilities:
Manage website and social media content.
Assist in creating and distributing written materials.
Participate in and help organize community fundraisers and events.
Coordinate print material distribution.
Maintain donor database and foster donor engagement.
Support administrative tasks and scheduling.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
1-2 years of social media and website management preferred, along with fundraising experience.
Skills:
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Proficiency with donor management programs is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Proficiency with computers.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to problem-solve independently and work well in a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort in engaging with diverse groups.
Salary Range:
$23 - $25 per hour, based on education and experience.
