THIS IS A PER DIEM/AS NEEDED POSITION
Summary:
Exemplify standards of hospitality and service to all internal and external customers.
Greet and direct visitors and their families to destinations and be a resource for information and guidance.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
On a per diem/as needed basis:
Greet guests sincerely, exhibiting proper guest relations skills and a positive attitude.
Proactively assist guests in obtaining a wheelchair, provide assistance or accompany guests.
Take initiative to maintain a safe and attractive environment.
Notify security of any suspicious person or behavior, accident, or circumstance that may cause damage or injury.
Work closely with staff to comfort families in an effort to stabilize highly emotional situations.
Handle complaints in real time within the department.
Channel complaints or problems to appropriate staff; assist in resolving conflicts and be an intermediary between patients, families, and staff.
Concierge services to patients and visitors.
Maintain knowledge of system-wide services to assist guests.
Report all incidents, irregularities, unsafe conditions, equipment and/or unusual occurrences to supervisor immediately.
Answer facility main phone line and appropriately transfer calls.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED One year of data entry and customer service experience Preference given to applicants with healthcare/hospital environment experience Location:

Variable 4-8 hr.
shifts between 5am-8pm including weekends Salary Range:
$16.
